Do you share our passion for renewable energy for a greener and sustainable future? Nordex has an exciting opportunity for the role of Project Coordinator based at our UK Head Office in Manchester.
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Didsbury, Manchester
Hours: Our core hours are 37 hours per week with a 3pm finish on a Friday.
How can you make a difference? As a Project Coordinator, you will support the UK and Ireland Project Managers with managing sales projects from contract signed to delivery of the project and handover to the customer. You will work closely with our teams across Tender, Logistics, Projects and Commercial management to ensure projects run smoothly and to time and budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing support to the Tender team as required during the sales phase, including developing handover and contract documentation
- Co-ordinate handover meetings from Sales to Projects
- Participate in customer meetings and site visits when required
- Assisting Project Managers in preparing Health & Safety plan and Environmental & Quality plan
- Assisting with regular report requirements
- Administration and co-ordination of subcontractors and sub-supplier contracts and purchase orders
- Supporting Project Managers with documentation, reporting and cost allocation
- Working with Commercial Project Managers on financial details
- Supporting the Logistics and Planning team to define and manage logistics contractors
- Liaising with HSE contractors to organise H&S equipment and documentation
- Participate in meetings with the project support team and deputising for Project Managers in their absence
- Co-ordinating orders and deliveries with Site Managers to ensure timely delivery to the correct locations
- Co-ordinating multiple projects and supporting the Project Manager on project handovers
What are we looking for? The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a Project Coordinator role, ideally within the wind energy sector or a similar industry. You will also have knowledge of the technical, commercial and political aspects driving the wind industry.

- Computer literate and confident in using MS office packages including MS Project
- Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to your work
- There may be a requirement to travel on an occasional basis which may include nights away from home
- A full UK / EU Driving Licence is required for this role
