Currently, we are looking for a OpenShift Architect to join our team in the UK.

Core Cloud & Platform Skills

  • Cloud Platforms: Extensive hands-on experience with AWS or Azure platforms.
  • Container Orchestration: Deep expertise in OpenShift and Kubernetes.
  • IaC & Automation: Proven ability to design and implement infrastructure using Terraform, Terragrunt, and Ansible.
  • CI/CD & DevOps: Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, specifically with GitHub Actions, and Azure Pipelines. GitOps with ArgoCD/OpenShift Pipelines is highly desirable.

Azure-Specific Expertise

  • Identity & Access Management: Strong understanding of Azure Managed Identities, Entra ID, and Azure RBAC for managing permissions and federated credentials.
  • Networking: Expertise in configuring Azure VNet Peering, private DNS zones, and network security policies with Azure Firewall and Network Security Groups (NSGs). Kubernetes Network Policies and Istio Service Mesh are highly desirable.
  • Core Services: Hands-on experience with Azure Key Vault, Azure Container Registry, Azure Container Instance and Azure Blob Storage.

Other Technical Competencies

  • Systems Administration: Strong background in GNU/Linux and RHEL systems administration.
  • Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and Python.
  • Certifications: Relevant AWS/Azure and Red Hat certifications such as RHCE are a strong indicator of the required knowledge.
