Your daily responsibilities:

  • As an AWS Cloud Engineer, you will help build clients’ cloud platforms, pipelines, and tooling.
  • You'll work directly with customers and each one must be able to explain technical content to people who might be less familiar with the technology.
  • Delivering quality solutions is more important than just “getting the job done”.
  • Participate in various customer projects, from new infrastructure builds and migrations to audits and big data.
  • Responsible for the detailed technical design of solutions (e.g. what tech and how) as well as implementation, engineering best practices, and cloud/DevOps engineering work.
  • Design and implement an excellent technical solution based on cloud platforms & relevant 3rd party tools.
  • Main part of the work is designing and implementing cloud infrastructure mainly as code (infrastructure as code, application deployments, configuration management, etc.).

Your key skills:

  • Experience with CI/CD-based environments.
  • Familiarity with serverless architectures.
  • Experience developing with microservices, Lambda Functions, Appsync, DynamoDB, Queues, etc.
  • At least 3 years of cloud developing large-scale distributed cloud systems.
  • AWS deployment techniques SAM templates, YAML, and code deployments.
  • Proficiency developing in multiple languages – JavaScript/Node.js, Java.
  • Nice to have Python core AWS services that support applications, such as EKS, Databases, S3, EC2, etc.
  • Hands-on advanced experience with Terraform and Ansible.
  • Experience maintaining CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitLab CI/CD) and experience around DevOps / FinOps is desired.

Skills we'd consider a plus:

  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional.
