As an AWS Cloud Engineer, you will help build clients’ cloud platforms, pipelines, and tooling. You'll work directly with customers and each one must be able to explain technical content to people who might be less familiar with the technology. Delivering quality solutions is more important than just “getting the job done” – this means participating in various customer projects, from new infrastructure builds and migrations to audits and big data. Engineers are responsible for the detailed technical design of solutions (e.g. what technology and how) as well as implementation, engineering best practices, and cloud/DevOps engineering work. You will design and implement excellent technical solutions based on cloud platforms and relevant 3rd‑party tools, focusing on cloud infrastructure mainly as code (infrastructure as code, application deployments, configuration management, etc.).

Key Skills

  • Experience with CI/CD-based environments, familiarity with serverless architectures
  • Experience developing with microservices, Lambda functions, AppSync, DynamoDB, queues, etc.
  • At least 3 years of cloud development on large‑scale distributed cloud systems
  • AWS deployment techniques: SAM templates, YAML, and code deployments
  • Proficiency in multiple languages – JavaScript/Node.js, Java (Python is a plus)
  • Core AWS services that support applications, such as EKS, databases, S3, EC2, etc.
  • Hands‑on advanced experience with Terraform and Ansible
  • Experience maintaining CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitLab CI/CD); DevOps / FinOps is desired

Additional Skills Considered a Plus

  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional

Requirements

  • All applicants must have the right to work in the UK and must meet the criteria and be willing to go through DV clearance.

Benefits

  • Flexible working hours and hybrid working model
  • Company laptop and needed equipment
  • Local package including up to 5% employer pension contributions, extensive private health care, dental cover, employee assistance programme, enhanced maternity and parental leave, gym membership discount
