Our dedicated consulting entity, Nord Pool Consulting, has become a recognized leader in power market development, providing strategic and operational advisory services to clients worldwide. Our track record spans landmark projects ranging from the design and operation of the European power market to the development of electricity markets across Africa, Asia, and the Americas.
Key Tasks You Will
- Serve as a senior advisor on wholesale electricity markets, guiding decisions from executives at our clients.
- Manage complex, international projects.
- Represent Nord Pool at conferences, workshops, and training events.
- Build strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
- Identify new opportunities, develop proposals, participate in international tenders, and secure new consulting engagements.
- Produce high‑quality studies, reports, presentations, and training materials.
Experience
- 10+ years’ experience (including consulting) with proven domain knowledge in the power sector.
- Demonstrated experience and in-depth understanding of electricity market design and operation, including good knowledge of efficient market features and processes, pricing mechanisms, and regulatory frameworks.
- Broader knowledge of other energy or commodity markets, regulatory frameworks, retail markets, or non‑European market designs is a strong advantage.
- Strong report writing and presentation skills.
- Degree in economics, business, engineering, or a related field.
