We are looking for a teacher who has:

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching IBDP Business Management and IBDP Economics.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
  • A proven track record with at least two years of successful teaching experience.
  • Strong experience building positive partnerships with parents.
  • Confidence in the effective use of technology to enhance teaching, learning and administration.
  • Experience teaching IB MYP Individuals and Societies (desirable).
  • Experience teaching students for whom English is an additional language (EAL).
  • Experience teaching IGCSE Business Studies.
  • Experience working as part of a highly successful department and school.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning, ensuring that planning, preparation, assessment and reporting meet the needs of all students. You should be flexible and adaptable, contributing positively to the continued development and growth of our school community.

Ensuring that the curriculum provides a range of powerful, personalised learning opportunities for students through:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging lessons in IBDP Business Management and IBDP Economics.
  • Implement agreed school policies and curriculum guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and use formative and summative assessment to inform planning.
  • Report regularly to parents on student progress, attainment and wellbeing in line with school policies.
  • Participate fully in departmental and whole-school meetings, professional development and collaborative planning.
  • Participate in the school's performance management process and actively engage in professional learning.
  • Support the wider life of the school beyond the classroom.
  • Contribute positively to the school's international community and ethos.
  • Contribute to whole-school initiatives and continuous improvement.
  • Support school marketing and community engagement activities, contributing to the continued growth and success of the school.
