The Role

As Education Researcher your focus will be to:

  • Collaborate with university partners to co-create research methodologies, develop tools, manage data collection, and produce insightful reports.
  • Work closely with school leaders, teachers, and academic partners to support research implementation and build digital resources on Nord Anglia University.
  • Analyse research findings and translate them into practical recommendations for teaching and learning.
  • Develop clear, engaging reports and case studies that showcase research outcomes and success stories across our global network.
  • Produce comprehensive reviews and scans to support research projects and teacher‑led initiatives.
  • Facilitate training sessions and promote metacognitive learning cultures using our EdTech platforms.

Qualifications

  • Research Skills: Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative research methods, including experience in designing research studies, creating surveys, and analysing data.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Research Methodology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred), and experience in an educational setting.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using research software (e.g., NVIVO, SPSS, R, Excel) for data analysis and visualisation; comfortable with various EdTech tools and platforms.
  • Report Writing: Strong writing skills with experience in drafting research reports, literature reviews, and summaries that convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • A keen interest in education research and emerging trends.
  • Ability to rigorously analyse data, draw meaningful conclusions, and ensure accuracy in research and reporting.
  • Self‑starter with the capacity to manage multiple projects independently, set priorities, and meet deadlines without close supervision.
  • Excellent Communicator, with strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to translate complex research findings into accessible, engaging reports for diverse audiences.
  • Able to build strong relationships with teachers, school leaders, and other stakeholders, demonstrating empathy and adaptability in supporting diverse needs and perspectives.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to maintain clear and accurate records of research design, data collection, and reporting processes.
