Etqan Global Academy (EGA), Doha, Qatar is looking to recruit a DP Mathematics Teacher (Applications & Interpretation) to join our team. EGA is a values-driven IB World School offering the IB Diploma Programme (DP) and IB Career-related Programme (IBCP). We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced DP Mathematics Teacher to inspire our students to see Mathematics as a powerful tool for understanding and solving real-world problems.
Your focus will be:
- Planning and delivering outstanding DP Mathematics: Developing students' mathematical thinking, modelling skills, statistical literacy, and effective use of technology including GDC and mathematical software.
- Preparing students effectively for IB external examinations through rigorous, data-informed teaching.
- Teaching MYP Mathematics where timetabled, maintaining high standards and inquiry-based approaches.
- Contributing to the Mathematics department and the wider life of EGA.
Requirements:
- A recognised teaching qualification and a degree in Mathematics or a closely related discipline.
- Proven experience teaching IB DP Mathematics, ideally Applications and Interpretation (AI).
- The ability to use GDC, mathematical software, and technology effectively to support learning.
- IB DP Mathematics workshop training desirable; international school experience desirable.
- Ability to meet visa requirements for working in Qatar.
