We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Portfolio Analyst (Real Estate) to join our Legal department within the Group Central Support at our London Headquarter Office. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the strategic management and optimisation of our real estate portfolio, supporting the organisation's growth and sustainability goals.
The successful candidate will analyse portfolio performance, assist in decision-making processes regarding asset acquisitions, disposals, and management, and collaborate closely with various stakeholders to ensure alignment with organisational objectives. The Portfolio Analyst plays a key role in supporting the effective management of a global real estate portfolio across leased and owned commercial and residential assets.
The role focuses on maintaining accurate portfolio and contract data, ensuring lease compliance, supporting financial and reporting requirements (including IFRS16), and delivering insightful analysis to inform strategic decision-making across global, regional, and school teams.
To excel as a Portfolio Analyst (Real Estate), candidates should possess a blend of technical knowledge, analytical competencies, and interpersonal skills, enabling effective contribution to the portfolio's strategic management.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with real estate valuation methods, investment analysis, and portfolio management tools (including databases).
- Financial Acumen: Ability to interpret financial reports, budgets, and forecasts relevant to real estate assets.
- Capacity to make considered decisions based on data analysis and organisational priorities.
- Meticulous in handling data accuracy and documentation.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel for complex data analysis; experience with real estate management software is advantageous.
Qualifications: A degree in real estate, finance, economics, or related fields is preferred.
