San Roberto International School is one of the top international schools in Monterrey, Mexico. We have two campuses; San Agustin and Valle Alto, both accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). It is a Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 9 private day school, teaching ages 3 to 15 bilingually in Spanish and English.
The Daycare Coordinator is responsible for the daily operation and organization of the preschool extended care program, ensuring a safe, structured, and well-supervised environment for students. This role includes supervision of nannies, coordination of student groups, communication with parents, and collaboration with school departments to ensure the smooth functioning of daycare services.
Key Responsibilities- Daily Operation & Supervision: Oversee the day-to-day operation of the daycare / extended care program, supervise and provide follow-up to nannies, organize student groups, monitor daily schedules, review and coordinate the daycare menu, supervise planning and execution of daily activities, and ensure activities are developmentally appropriate.
- Parent Communication & Student Follow-Up: Maintain regular communication with parents, follow up on student cases, support conflict resolution, and provide timely responses to parent concerns.
- Enrollment & Records: Manage daycare registrations, keep accurate records of student enrollment and attendance, and coordinate group placement.
- Staff Support & Training: Provide orientation and training for nannies, ensure staff follow school policies, support organization of staff schedules, and provide guidance on activity planning.
- Events & ProD Days Coordination: Organize daycare groups during ProD days and special school events, coordinate student lists and food counts, and ensure proper supervision during teacher training days.
- Coordination with School Departments: Maintain communication with Aquatics, Fine Arts, Sports, and other departments, coordinate student participation in after-school activities, and support organization of student dismissal and pick-up logistics.
- Safety & Protocol Compliance: Ensure all daycare procedures follow school safety guidelines and inform administration of any situation requiring follow-up.
