The Leadership Development Manager is situated in our London HQ HR team and offers an exciting opportunity to design, implement, and oversee comprehensive leadership development programmes that enhance skills, inspire growth, and foster a culture of continuous learning across all levels of the company. You will collaborate closely with senior management to identify leadership needs and tailor initiatives that support strategic organisational goals while promoting inclusive leadership practices.
Reporting to the Group Head of Leadership Development as part of a small, friendly, high-performing team, the role balances hands-on programme design and facilitation with the rigour of measuring the impact of the programmes.
The Senior Leadership Development Manager supports the global design, delivery and continuous improvement of Nord Anglia Education's leadership programmes, meeting the diverse needs of both educators and functional teams, and equipping leaders with the skills to lead confidently and perform at their best. The role will support a comprehensive review of the current leadership offer, elevate the curriculum for school colleagues so it is better aligned to organisational needs, and develop a new functional pathway with clear outcomes aligned to training needs and business priorities.
Partnering closely with business leaders, educators and HR colleagues, the role supports scalable, quality learning experiences that strengthen capability, deepen the talent pipeline and advance our growth strategy. Crucially, it helps future-proof the organisation by ensuring we develop leaders who are ready to drive Nord Anglia's continued success in the years ahead.
Drawing on expertise from the education sector, organisational psychology and/or adult learning and development, coaching and psychometrics, the role aligns every programme to our behaviours framework, EmpowerUs, so that one shared language of how we show up at work runs throughout. Ultimately, this work serves our vision: to create a generation of resilient and creative global citizens who will change our world for the better.
- Proven experience designing and delivering leadership development in a commercially driven environment, comfortable operating both strategically and hands-on within a flat, fast-paced organisation.
- Strong facilitation skills across all levels of seniority, including experience running action learning sets.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships across diverse groups.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles, leadership frameworks and job analysis to underpin robust programme design.
- Excellent project management and communication skills, with strong analytical ability to measure and evidence the effectiveness of development initiatives.
- An accredited coach with experience of one-to-one and group coaching.
- Experience in using and interpreting psychometrics (BPS Level A and Level B qualified).
- Master’s in Occupational Psychology or HR/Learning and Development (or equivalent).
- Experience of working in a global, matrixed organisation.
- Confident applying AI and digital tools to enhance learning design, delivery and evaluation.
