We are seeking to appoint a teacher of A Level Sociology from September 2026 on a fixed term basis for one year. The ability to also teach Criminology at the equivalent of A Level would be an advantage. There is also the possibility of a pastoral role within the Sixth Form for suitably qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality A Level Sociology lessons to students aged 11‑18 in a dynamic, student‑centred environment.
  • Prepare and assess student work, manage grading and feedback, and support pupils’ progress.
  • Provide pastoral support and guidance to Sixth Form students as appropriate.
