We are looking for a hands-on engineer to collaborate with our design team on the development of new test procedures, associated equipment, and general test and fault diagnosis of electronic systems across a wide range of customer products.
Responsibilities
- Technical supervision of test activities undertaken by technician staff.
- Diagnosis and resolution of issues with products under test.
- Maintenance and improvement of existing test rigs, equipment, and programs.
- Specification, development, and construction of new test rigs and test equipment.
Qualifications
- Degree-level education in electronics or a related engineering discipline.
- Previous demonstrable experience in a similar role or industry acceptable in lieu of formal qualifications.
- Strong attention to detail and aptitude for achieving ‘right first time’ results under challenging project timescales.
- Good general computer skills.
- Willingness to undertake specific system-level training as required.
