Job Type: Full-time, Permanent, Onsite

The Role: This role within the Company is for an experienced CMM Programmer, preferably with Quality Engineering experience, to support precision manufacturing and inspection activities. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of CMM programming, dimensional metrology, GD&T, and quality systems working to AS9100 standards. Experience using PolyWorks and portable metrology equipment such as laser trackers is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain CMM inspection programs
  • Perform dimensional inspections on complex components and assemblies
  • Program and operate CMM equipment using PolyWorks
  • Utilise laser trackers and portable metrology systems for large-part inspection and alignment
  • Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T requirements
  • Analyse inspection data and generate detailed reports
  • Lead MSA studies
  • Investigate non-conformances and support root cause corrective actions
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to improve process capability
  • Assist with calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment
  • Support compliance with AS9100 quality standards

Required Key Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years of CMM programming experience
  • Strong understanding of GD&T
  • Experience with PolyWorks
  • Experience with MSA & gauge R&R
  • Experience using portable metrology equipment and laser trackers
  • Knowledge of quality engineering principles and inspection methodologies
  • Proficiency with CAD models and dimensional analysis
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • Quality Engineering experience in an AS9100 environment
  • Aerospace / defence experience
  • Experience in FAIR/AS9102, Root Cause analysis, CAPA Process
