The Role

We are looking for skilled and motivated GRP or Pre-Preg Laminators to join our growing teams. You will work on a variety of composite components, following technical drawings and lay-up specifications to produce high-quality parts.

Opportunities are available in both our GRP and Composites teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare moulds to the required standard, including gel-coat readiness
• Read, understand, and follow lay-up drawings and specifications
• Apply gel coat accurately and consistently
• Carry out a range of laminating processes, including:
• Wet-lay
• Vacuum bagging
• Infusion
• Pre-preg
• RTM
• Work with fabrics and pre-preg materials
• Use hand tools safely and effectively
• Identify and report laminating defects
• Release simple moulds and use patterns and jigs correctly
• Maintain a clean and organised work area
• Record all job times accurately on timesheets
• Follow PPE and safety procedures at all times
• Take responsibility for the accuracy and quality of your work

What We\’re Looking For

• Experience in GRP or pre-preg laminating (preferred but not essential depending on level)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
• Ability to read technical drawings and work independently
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Proactive, reliable, and safety-conscious approach

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience in Marine, Aerospace, Automotive, or similar quality-driven industries.
• Understanding of GRP laminating processes, including trimming
• Knowledge of quality processes and standards
