The predicted salary is between 15 - 15 £ per hour.

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. All candidates should make sure to read the following job description and information carefully before applying. LTD drivers preferred. £15/h for the first 4 weeks for the learning period, and then £15.50/h. 90% of Amazon work, 10% of general haulage. You must have the Amazon relay app downloaded to your phone.

The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, particularly with curtainsided trucks, and be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently.

Duties:
  • Drive trucks to transport and deliver goods to designated locations
  • Operate curtainsided trucks for the safe transportation of cargo
  • Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in compliance with traffic regulations
  • Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
  • Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Must be over the age of 30
  • Minimum of 2 years recent Class 1 driving experience
  • Good understanding of drivers hours and Working Time Directive regulations
  • Strong commitment to safety and compliance
  • Good geographical knowledge of the depot operating area and the wider UK road network
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues
  • A customer-focused approach, delivering a high standard of service at all times
