We are currently seeking experienced and motivated Packaging Operatives (Level 4) to join our expanding operations team in Newry. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a regulated packaging pharmaceutical environment where quality, safety, and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything we do.
As a Level 4 Operative, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the packaging lines, ensuring products are packaged efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with GMP standards.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Supporting the Assistant Packaging Manager in the smooth and efficient operation of the packaging lines
- Ensuring daily production targets are achieved
- Maintaining strict adherence to GMP and Health & Safety standards
- Instructing, guiding, and delegating tasks to team members
- Training and coaching new and existing team members
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance compliance and efficiency
What We're Looking For:
Essential:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience within a manufacturing/packaging GMP environment
- Flexibility to work rotating shift patterns
- Ability to make sound operational decisions independently
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to instruct and delegate
- Understanding of risk assessments and safe systems of work
- Experience in training or mentoring team members
Desirable:
- Experience working with internal or external auditors
- Proven examples of improving compliance or increasing operational efficiency
