Project Overview
Reporting to the Head of Project Management, the Project Manager will lead and deliver assigned projects across Norbrook's diverse and complex product portfolio. This includes new product development, product life cycle management, and strategic business improvement initiatives. You will take ownership of projects from initiation through to closure, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The role demands strong technical expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to manage multiple overlapping projects in a fast-paced environment. As part of Norbrook's Project Management Team, you'll gain a unique 360 view of the business, working across multiple functions and project types. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and success of innovative projects and products that make a real impact in the veterinary pharmaceutical sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead projects from initiation to closure, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Regulatory, Quality, Operations, Commercial, and Finance.
- Develop project scopes, budgets, timelines, and status reports using Project Management processes and systems.
- Manage risks, issues, and change control processes effectively.
- Drive continuous improvement and implement lessons learned across projects.
- Support portfolio management and contribute to company-wide initiatives.
- Present at external and/or internal meetings/presentations/stakeholder communication.
Essential Criteria:
- Relevant third level qualification, preferably with a strong scientific focus.
- At least 5 years in Project Management.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent influencing & communication skills.
- Ability to effectively lead cross-functional matrix teams.
- Demonstrated ability to identify risks and implement solutions to maintain project timelines & budgets.
- Proven track record of effective project management using project management tools & processes.
- Ability to drive change at all levels to accelerate project plans.
- Excellent organisation skills & attention to detail.
Desirable Criteria:
- Minimum of 5 years in the pharmaceutical or related regulated Industry.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory guidelines.
- Prince2/PMP Project Management Certification (or similar standard).
- Experience of managing people.
