The Cleanroom Microbiologist will be mainly based in our manufacturing areas and will be responsible for gathering samples from these areas for quality assurance purposes.
- Sampling of pharmaceutical cleanrooms
- Recording of data onto a database system
The successful candidate will be required to work a shift pattern which, depending on Production requirements, will involve either 8 hour or 12-hour rotations which will include nightshifts and weekends. No prior experience is required as full training will be given for this role.
Other tasks carried out on a non-routine basis include but are not limited to:
- Recommissioning and reclassification testing
- DOP testing of HEPA filters
- Identification of isolates recovered from pharmaceutical cleanrooms
Requirements:
- Grade C or above in both English and Maths at GCSE level (or equivalent)
- The ability to work a shift pattern, this will involve either 8 or 12 hour rotations which will include nightshifts and weekends
- Excellent oral and written communication skills as demonstrated on application form, pre-interview written test and at interview
- Full UK Driving License (for occasional movement between sites)
