This is a strategic leadership role responsible for the safe, compliant, cost-effective and reliable operation of our warehousing, distribution and logistics network across the UK, Ireland and North America. You will lead four warehouse operations across Northern Ireland and Ireland, including our Global Distribution Centre in Newry, oversee our US Distribution Centre in Kansas City, and manage relationships with third-party logistics providers. The role is critical in ensuring outstanding performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People while supporting business growth and customer excellence. What You'll Do Reporting into senior supply chain leadership, you will: Develop and deliver the warehousing and logistics strategy aligned to business objectives. Lead operational performance across multiple warehouse and distribution sites. Foster a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with EHS, GDP, GMP and regulatory requirements. Drive warehouse performance through improved productivity, accuracy, inventory control and service levels. Oversee global distribution activities, ensuring customer orders are delivered accurately and on time. Manage Norbrook's internal transport fleet and optimise external transport solutions. Build strong partnerships with third-party logistics providers, holding them accountable for service, compliance and cost performance. Lead import, export and customs compliance activities, ensuring adherence to HMRC and international trade requirements. Manage warehousing and logistics budgets, identifying opportunities for efficiency, cost reduction and continuous improvement. Develop and coach warehouse leadership teams, building capability, succession plans and a high-performance culture. Lead risk management, business continuity planning and network resilience initiatives. About You You will bring significant leadership experience within logistics, warehousing, distribution or supply chain operations, ideally within a regulated manufacturing environment such as pharmaceuticals, healthcare, life sciences or a similarly compliance-driven sector. Essential Criteria Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience. Proven experience in a senior logistics, warehousing or distribution leadership role. Strong knowledge of GMP, GDP, quality systems, audit readiness and regulatory compliance. Experience managing import/export activities, customs processes and HMRC requirements. Strong understanding of inventory management, stock control and material traceability. Experience using ERP, warehouse management or logistics systems. Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills. Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, customer service and continuous improvement. Desirable Criteria APICS/ASCM, CIPS or equivalent professional qualification. Experience operating within a global manufacturing and distribution network. Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement experience.
