Animal Technician Applications are invited for the position of an Animal Technician within the Research and Development department. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Clinical Veterinary Surgeon. He/she will care for small animals on a daily basis including handling, feeding and recording of data associated with their care in accordance with the quality standards set by the company. Main Activities/Tasks To assist with the restraint of small animals. Feeding and general monitoring of small animals. Recording of data relevant to the above activities. To assist with the maintenance of the small animal units. To carry out any other duties as deemed necessary by management. Essential Criteria: At least 1 years' experience working with animals. Good written English (Secondary/High school level). Experience recording data and working with paperwork. Ability to work weekends on a rota basis. Good teamwork skills. Desirable Criteria: Previous experience of working in a Good Laboratory Practice environment. Particular experience working with dogs and cats.
