The predicted salary is between 30000 - 34000 £ per year.

Due to sustained and continued growth, we are currently seeking applications for General Operators within our plant located in Ballymena to support with our ever-growing customer demands. The hours of work for these roles include 12-hour day shifts and night shifts inclusive of weekend working.

What Will My Key Responsibilities Be?

  • Perform duties to the highest standard adhering to standard operating procedures in a safe and efficient manner to maximise production and achieve targets.
  • Contribute towards achieving and maintaining a positive team and working environment, working in a cooperative manner and providing support to work colleagues as needed and adapting to change in a positive and professional manner.
  • Communicate in a respectful, professional and timely manner with Managers, work colleagues and wider team to maintain continuity of production and ensure a safe, efficient working environment for all.
  • Promote accident prevention on your line by adhering to all safety guidelines and standards, ensuring that the correct PPE is always being worn and encourage active participation in all required training.
  • Carry out quality checks in accordance with laid down procedures and ensure appropriate action is taken if required.
  • Responsible for maintaining documentation associated with each given role including all traceability details.
  • Ensure all product is within specification based on customer requirements.
  • Housekeeping of work area to ensure highest standards of health and safety.
  • Performance of safety, quality and pre-start checks and reporting any damage or defects.
  • Safe operation of equipment involved within the role i.e. forklift, shunter, machines.
