About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Contracts / Site Manager to oversee refurbishment, maintenance, and development projects across our growing property portfolio. This is a senior role for an established professional with proven delivery experience. This position is not suitable for junior candidates. We are looking for a results-driven individual who can manage projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple construction and refurbishment projects
- Oversee site operations and daily activities
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations
- Monitor quality standards and workmanship
- Prepare project programmes and reports
- Manage variations, costs, and valuations
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders
- Conduct site inspections and risk assessments
Essential Requirements
- Demonstrable success as a Contracts Manager or Site Manager
- Strong health and safety management experience
- Proven track record delivering projects on schedule
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent commercial awareness
Desirable Experience
- SMSTS / SSSTS certification
- Experience in property refurbishment and fit-out
- Cost control and budget management experience
- Knowledge of building regulations and planning requirements
- Experience managing multiple concurrent sites
