NoorWords is looking for a talented mobile app developer to help bring our vision to life, transforming our existing web-based prototype into a fully functional mobile application. About NoorWords NoorWords is a poetic, calming Islamic wellness app that delivers gentle daily reminders rooted in the Quran, Hadith, and Islamic literature. The project blends technology and spirituality to support emotional healing and inner peace. One of the app’s standout features is Ask Noor, an AI-powered assistant offering thoughtful, reflective responses to user questions and feelings, acting like a poetic digital companion for the soul. The prototype has been built and tested on the web. Now, it’s time to make it mobile: accessible, elegant, and scalable. Role Description We are seeking a creative, technically skilled developer to rebuild NoorWords as a mobile app (iOS and Android). You will have the opportunity to lead the mobile development and shape the app’s direction by suggesting improvements and implementing meaningful features. Responsibilities: Rebuild the NoorWords web app as a mobile application using Flutter, React Native, or native stacks (open to your preference) Integrate and optimise the existing FastAPI-based backend and GPT-powered features Implement essential features such as daily reminders, offline access, and user profiles Ensure an intuitive, calming, minimalist UI/UX that reflects the spirit of the brand Collaborate with the founder on feature ideas, design feedback, and project roadmap Ideal Candidate: A Muslim developer (or someone with deep respect for Islamic values) Strong experience in mobile app development (Flutter, React Native, or Swift/Kotlin) Comfortable working with APIs, backend integration, and deploying apps to the App Store / Play Store An eye for design, UX, and spiritual user experience Someone who can proactively contribute ideas and cares about purpose-driven tech Bonus if you’ve worked on apps related to wellness, mental health, or Islamic content Why Join?
