We are looking for an attentive, friendly, and reliable Waiter / Waitress to join our front-of-house team. The ideal candidate will ensure excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and drinks, and maintaining a clean and welcoming dining environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival
- Present menus, explain dishes, and offer recommendations
- Take accurate food and drink orders using a POS system
- Communicate orders to kitchen and bar staff clearly and efficiently
- Serve food and beverages in a timely and courteous manner
- Check in with guests during meals to ensure satisfaction
- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally
- Process payments and issue receipts (cash, card, etc.)
- Clear tables, reset for new guests, and maintain cleanliness in the dining area
- Follow hygiene and safety regulations at all times
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth service
Requirements
- Previous experience as a waiter/waitress or in a customer-facing role preferred
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
- Basic math skills for handling bills and payments
- Able to work on weekends and public holidays
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices (training provided if needed)
- 6 day work week based on roster shift
