About the role

At Noon, we are developing a product used by thousands of students every day. As a Senior Software Developer, you will be at the heart of the student journey, delivering innovation daily. Join our distributed, high-performing team in our central London office (hybrid, 2 days per week), where the core of our tech team is located.

Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of code, from design to delivery and observability.
  • Promote best practices, always striving for incremental improvements.
  • Participate in the team’s release and support rotations.
  • Reduce complexity and toil by identifying bottlenecks and improving system efficiency.
  • Be a team player.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Java, Spring boot.
  • Experience with infrastructure and distributed systems.
  • Experience with containerisation and orchestration technologies (Kubernetes).
