Noodle Talent Partners are delighted to be exclusively supporting an exciting organisation in recruiting the position of Senior Product & Category Manager to join their friendly team near King's Lynn, supporting them to shape the future of the product portfolio across UK and international markets. Permanent, full time position, Working hours Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm. Hybrid working available- 3 days office and 2 days from home.

What the role will involve:

  • Leading the product management team, providing guidance, setting clear objectives, supporting development and building a high-performing, cohesive team that demonstrate company values and deliver a portfolio of quality products in line with the market and calendar deadlines.
  • Own and execute the end-to-end product strategy and full product portfolio, leading the strategy across growth, innovation and lifecycle management from concept input and launch to performance review and end-of-life decisions, playing an active role in the direction of new products to both the UK and international market with continuous improvement through post-launch performance reviews.
  • Collaborating with international teams to provide insight into your market, acting as the key UK connection to ensure localisation and fit with UK/EU markets, helping to turn great ideas into winning products and stand-out launches.
  • Ensuring the product range is relevant to the operating markets and is built for long term success to deliver commercial growth.
  • Develop and maintain multi-year category roadmaps, translate the global strategy and local market needs into actionable range and margin plans.
  • Drive insight-led decision making through analysis of sales performance, market data, trends, and competitor activity.
  • Serve as the product and category expert for Sales, Marketing, Amazon and Supply Chain, supporting line reviews, launches, storytelling, and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on forecasting, demand planning, OEM schedules, partnerships, and licensed programmes to optimise availability and profitability.

The candidate we are looking for will have:

  • Existing Leadership/People management experience, an approachable and supportive nature with ability to give clear direction and forward plan, to build a high performing team.
  • Existing experience and success in Category Management, Product Management or Product Development within FMCG for end-to-end product lifecycle.
  • Ability to use data driven insights to shape global priorities and drive market relevant product opportunities.
  • Sound commercial awareness and decision making skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy with strong analytical skills and ability to interpret market data - experience with PowerBI would be desirable.
  • Cross-functional communication and team working, international collaboration would be desirable.
  • Ability to identify areas for performance improvement and provide constructive feedback.
  • Senior management reporting and presentation skills with working knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Highly organised with strong forward planning and prioritisation skills.
  • Ability to problem solve and manage any product issues promptly.
