Permanent postNonStop Care is working with one of the most reputable Fostering charities in Somerset in order to help them find a Supervising social worker, full-time.
This is a National Fostering organisation that is well-established and can offer great career development and benefits. They are a home-based workforce and they offer many benefits that support your work/life balance.
This post is mostly working from home with once per month travel to Bristol office. Foster carers location are ; Paignton, Yeovile, Holsworthy and Axbridge. There will be travel involved to see the carers every 4-6 weeks. Someone who lives close to Somerset and Devon would be in a good location for this post.
You must be a driver and have access to a car to be eligible for this role. The role is autonomous and you can organise your own schedule.
Responsibilities of the Supervising social worker:
Offering monthly support and supervision to foster carers
Updating assessments of current carers
Being part of the OOH call system – this will be paid additionallyRequirements:

Must have recent experience working as a fostering social worker, either within local authority or IFA
