An exciting opportunity has become available for a Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join a well-established and expanding multidisciplinary therapy service in London. This role offers an excellent combination of school-based work, clinic sessions, and community visits, making it ideal for an Occupational Therapist who enjoys variety and is passionate about supporting children with additional needs.

The employer is ideally looking for someone on an employed basis, although self-employed therapists will also be considered to provide school-based cover from September.

The Role

The successful Occupational Therapist will divide their time across three settings: One day per week based in a specialist school in Harrow, supporting children with Autism. Two days per week developing the private Occupational Therapy service through clinic appointments in Stratford and/or Clapham, alongside home visits. The caseload will predominantly consist of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and those requiring Sensory Integration assessment and intervention.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

  • HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience working with children in a paediatric setting.
  • Experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
  • Knowledge and experience of Sensory Integration approaches.
  • Excellent assessment, intervention, and communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently across school, clinic, and community environments.
  • A full UK driving licence is desirable.
