NonStop Care are working with a Good Ofsted local authority in the South East, Berkshire area who are looking for an experienced Social Worker to join their Assessment team as a Senior. The ideal candidate will have experience in carrying out assessments and strive towards the highest level of diligence towards their service users.

This position offers flexible hybrid working options, allowing you to maximise your time spent working from the comfort of your own home and manage your own caseload and diary, meaning you'll create a fantastic work-life balance. This position allows you to work within a local authority that has a very supportive management team, meaning you'll be fully supported by your team and managers, which will ultimately increase your work satisfaction.

Some responsibilities of this role include:

  • Identify children and families who would benefit from early help.
  • Undertake an assessment of the need for early help.
  • Provide targeted early help services to address the assessed needs of a child.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Social Work & Social Work England registration
  • A drivers license
  • An up to date DBS check
  • Experience working in assessments within Children's Services.
