NonStop Care is working with one of the most reputable fostering agencies in Salisbury to help them find a Locum Supervising Social Worker, full-time. This is a national fostering organisation that is well-established and can offer great career development and benefits. They have a hybrid working model, and you will be required to work from the office 2 days per week. The caseload is usually between 10 - 12 carers and they will be located in Wiltshire. You must be a driver and have access to a car to be eligible for this role. The role is autonomous, and you can organise your own schedule. This role is to provide cover while they recruit permanently, but the agency would also be very happy to consider someone who may be interested in transitioning into a permanent role longer term.

Responsibilities of the Locum Supervising Social Worker:

  • Offering monthly support and supervision to foster carers
  • Updating assessments of current carers
  • Being part of the OOH call system - this will be paid additionally

Requirements:

  • Must be a driver and have access to own car
  • Must have recent experience working as a fostering social worker, either within local authority or IFA
