Are you an experienced regulatory professional with deep knowledge of UK and EU REACH compliance? Are you ready to take on a senior role in a dynamic, internationally respected consultancy supporting the world’s leading chemical manufacturers?
We helped our established EU consultancy client set up their base and entity in the UK a few years back. The team quickly grew to 4 with a pipeline of work streaming in. Since then the company has grown with a recent leadership change further driving that growth. They are a leading international consultancy providing tailored regulatory and compliance services across the global chemicals industry. As they continue to expand services across the UK market, they are looking for a motivated and experienced Principal Consultant to join their UK subsidiary.
The role offers a broad scope, not just limited to churning out registrations and dealing with IUCLID but also driving the growth, thinking about the sales and marketing side (service delivery) etc.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide strategic and technical advice to industrial clients on UK and EU REACH regulations.
- Manage UK REACH services, including registrations, inquiries, and notifications.
- Lead customer engagements and support relationship development.
- Use your entrepreneurial and commercial mindset to drive the business.
- Contribute to service development, marketing, and sales activities.
- Deliver internal training, mentor junior staff, and support team growth.
- Present at industry conferences, webinars, and other professional events.
What You Bring:
- A degree (BSc, MSc, or PhD) in Chemistry, Toxicology, Chemical Engineering, or related science.
- 5+ years of regulatory or industry experience in chemical compliance.
- Strong expertise in UK and EU REACH; experience with Turkey REACH is a plus.
- Proficiency in dossier preparation using IUCLID (Lead and Co-registrant) is essential.
- Familiarity with CHESAR, CLP, hazard communication, and related legislation.
- Proven project management skills with a results-driven approach.
- Strong communication skills and confidence presenting technical content.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in supporting business growth.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global environment.
