Our client, a UK Government Department, offers an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Java Developer in Leeds or Manchester in a hybrid working setting. Known for one of the largest digital programmes in the UK, promoting an inclusive digital culture that fosters innovation.
About the Role
- Contract Length: 12 Months
- Location: Manchester / Leeds (60% Hybrid)
- Pay Rate: £(Apply online only) /day (Inside IR35)
- Security Clearance: BPSS but candidates must be eligible for SC Clearance
Key Skills Required
- Recent experience with Java 21 (or later)
- Strong understanding of TDD and BDD
- Experience with large microservice architectures
- Agile environment experience
- Involved in pair programming and API implementation
- Skilled in building robust automated test suites
- Proficiency with Unix-like operating systems
- Knowledge in tools and techniques for web development
