Key Responsibilities:
As the Fostering Team Manager, you will lead an established team of approximately 8 staff, including 2 Senior Supervising Social Workers and an Assistant Team Manager. The team supports around 70 fostering households and 80 children. You will manage and allocate work, monitor performance and maintain high standards of practice across the team. You will also provide direct support to Supervising Social Workers, helping to guide and develop their practice while ensuring a high-quality fostering service is delivered to children, young people and foster carers. This is an office-based position in Berkshire.
Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker
- Social Work England registration
- Fostering management experience
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding and fostering practice
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car
- Ability to work flexibly when required
