SAP Payroll Implementation Lead - Austria | Remote EU WIDE | Contract We're looking for an experienced SAP Payroll Implementation Lead to join a global payroll and HR technology business on a contract basis, supporting the delivery of end-to-end payroll implementations for Austrian clients. This is a fully remote role with travel requirements and operates on a contractor basis - you'll need to supply your own laptop. The Role You'll work directly with clients to capture payroll requirements, lead workshops, and drive configuration and system setup through to go-live. Day-to-day responsibilities include: Validating and configuring payroll solutions and integrations in line with Austrian legal and regulatory requirements Supporting data mapping, migration, YTD preparation and accuracy checks Managing all testing phases - SIT, UAT, parallel runs - and resolving configuration and integration issues with global teams Overseeing go-live readiness and post-implementation stabilisation Tracking project progress and collaborating with project managers and wider delivery teams to hit milestonesWhat You'll Bring Deep knowledge of Austrian payroll legislation and time regulations Proven hands-on experience in SAP payroll configuration and integrations Payroll Implementation experience must be demonstrated Fluency in both English and German - written and spoken Strong client-facing and stakeholder communication skills Ability to self-manage in a remote environment across global teams Experience on international payroll projects is an advantage Contract | Remote (Austria-based preferred)If you're an SAP payroll specialist with solid Austrian market knowledge and a track record of delivering complex implementations, we'd like to hear from you.
