Locum Educational Psychologist with Tribunal Experience Wanted
An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Locum Educational Psychologist to support a well-established Local Authority with a combination of tribunal work and statutory assessments. We're particularly interested in hearing from Educational Psychologists who have previous experience preparing tribunal reports and providing expert advice as part of SEND tribunal processes. While remote working is available, Educational Psychologists based in Lincolnshire or the Nottingham area who are able to carry out face-to-face assessments are especially encouraged to apply.

The Role
You'll support the Educational Psychology Service by delivering high-quality statutory advice while also undertaking tribunal-related work where required. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Educational Psychologists who are confident working within statutory timescales and have a strong understanding of SEND legislation and tribunal processes.
Responsibilities
- Complete Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments (EHCNAs)
- Prepare high-quality statutory advice and psychological reports
- Undertake tribunal-related work, including report writing and case preparation
- Attend tribunal hearings where required
- Carry out face-to-face assessments where appropriate
- Work independently while maintaining excellent communication with the wider team
About You
To be considered, you'll have:
- HCPC registration as an Educational Psychologist
- Previous Local Authority Educational Psychology experience
- Significant experience completing statutory assessments
- Experience supporting SEND tribunals and preparing tribunal reports
- Excellent report-writing skills
- The ability to manage your own workload independently
Educational Psychologists based in Lincolnshire or Nottinghamshire who are able to undertake face-to-face assessments are particularly encouraged to apply.
