Independent Fostering Reviewing Officer (IRO)

- Ensure all reviews are conducted within set timescales and adhere to organisational policies.
- Liaise with foster carers, children in placement, and relevant professionals to ensure comprehensive, child-centered reviews.
- Address any performance or practice issues promptly with the Fostering Service Manager.
- Prepare for internal audits and OFSTED inspections.
- Promote the safety, welfare, and wellbeing of children, ensuring compliance with safeguarding procedures.
Requirements:
- Degree in Social Care
- Experience in fostering social care, preferably an IRO position
- Social Work Wales Registration
