NonStop Care is working with a well-established Independent Fostering Agency with a Good Ofsted rating in the South London area, in order to help them find a Supervising Social Worker who can join them on a permanent basis. This is a home-based role, offering you a lot of flexibility with your schedule.
Responsibilities:
- The Supervising Social Worker will oversee a small caseload of 10 – 12 foster families located around Croydon, Wandsworth, Surrey, Streatham, Beckenham, Kingston and Thornton Heath.
- You will only provide support and supervision to the foster families so you will not have to complete any Form F Assessments on top.

- You will work closely with therapists, education leads and other Social Workers and the child’s birth parents may also be involved.

- The team is very stable and the manager is very supportive and friendly, so you will be part of a very nice working environment.
- They offer a very good annual leave – 30 days (that can increase to 35 days per year) + bank holidays, allowing you to have a good work – life balance.
Requirements:
- Please apply if you are a Qualified Social Worker and if you have experience in working in fostering or in a Looked After Children Team.
- You must have a Social Work Degree and a driving license also.
