We are currently recruiting for a C&I Wire Person in Culham, Didcot for a great project, a contract inside IR35, for 12+ months that is ran by a Public Sector Authority.

About the role:

  • Provide C&I wire person/panel builder support to the facility working across different groups, and on a wide range of control and instrumentation systems.
  • This shall include working both within a workshop environment and on industrial plant to both construct and repair C&I systems, perform bench testing and in-situ fault finding.

Essential Experience:

  • Perform fault finding and repairs to C&I system under supervision, both with and without written test procedures.
  • Provide C&I wire person/panel builder support to Plant Responsible Officers (PROs).
  • Support fault finding and repair work on C&I systems.
  • Procure, build, test and commission new plant and equipment (i.e. cubicles, sub racks/assemblies and electronic cards) to defined requirements.
  • Capable of undertaking delicate and fragile work e.g., thermocouple connections.

Qualifications:

  • C&G2330 Level 3 Certificate in Electrotechnical Technology or equivalent.
  • ONC/HNC in Electrical or Electronic Engineering will be acceptable.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • Apprentice trained with relevant experience working in an industrial environment on 3-phase power systems.
