NonStop Consulting is working with one of the most reputable charities in the UK to help them find a Deputy Director of People who can join them on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities:
The Deputy Director of People will be part of the Senior Leadership Team and will lead on all People matters, including HR, EDI, Learning and Development, and National Volunteering. This role will offer you the opportunity to make a meaningful difference for all the charity employees as well as the children, young people, and families that use their services.
- Operational Leadership - to contribute towards the organisation's strategy and consult with key stakeholders on the People Strategy and operational needs
- Leadership of the People team - to support the Head of HR and the HR team in contributing to the management of employee relations and ensuring that effective and appropriate HR Policies and Procedures are in place, accessible and which meet legal requirements, best practice and organisational objectives
- To oversee HR and L&D projects in areas such as employee engagement, leadership and management development, reward and systems.

Requirements:
Experience in a senior leadership role in a generalist HR role contributing to the development and delivery of People initiatives and strategies. Chartered Member of the CIPD (MCIPD), or equivalent senior level HR and People experience demonstrating comparable professional knowledge and capability.
