I'm currently recruiting for a Portfolio Manager with experience working in the railway industry on European Train Control Systems (ETCS) to join a long term contract role (12 + months) in London.
Working style: hybrid - 3 days in London office with 2 days working from home.
About the role: establishing and overseeing the delivery of projects to implement ETCS as part of the National Passenger train fleet programme.
Essential skills:
- Leading the national migration to European Train Control System (ETCS) digital train control technology.
- Experience of delivery of onboard ETCS ("digital") technology or rolling stock modification programmes.
- Exposure to GBR, NWR / Railway policies & regulations.
- Project engineering background.
