We’re looking for a compassionate and experienced Senior Care Worker to join our dedicated team, supporting customers in their homes across Swindon. If you have at least 1 year of care experience, a full UK driving licence, and a passion for leading others while delivering outstanding care - we’d love to hear from you.
Your Role Will Involve:
- Leading and supervising a team of Domiciliary Care Workers
- Developing, implementing and reviewing person-centred care plans
- Promoting independence, dignity, choice and privacy in care delivery
- Building strong relationships with customers, families and health care professionals
- Ensuring high standards of care and compliance with safety regulations
- Travelling between customer’s homes using your own vehicle
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum 1 year of professional care experience
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle insured for work use
- Able to work a flexible schedule including 2-3 evenings per week (up to 22:00) and alternate weekends
- Confident in reading, writing and carrying out basic arithmetic
- Understanding of social care values and a person-centred approach
- Non-judgemental, patient, and supportive attitude
- Commitment to ongoing training and development
- Ability to lead and support care staff with guidance from the Care Supervisor and Registered Manager
- Fluent in English
