Residential Clinical Practitioner High-Impact Therapeutic Role

Location: Based on-site across services in the East Midlands region

Your Role as a Residential Clinical Practitioner:

  • Lead therapeutic provision across children's residential homes and an assessment centre within the region.
  • Deliver clinical assessments and trauma-informed interventions to children and young people with complex needs.
  • Provide weekly therapy sessions using integrative approaches aligned with developmental and complex trauma models.
  • Produce detailed assessment reports and therapeutic care plans.
  • Offer clinical supervision to assistant psychologists and deliver training to staff on attachment, therapeutic parenting, and trauma recovery.
  • Work collaboratively with external agencies and care professionals to support progress and safeguarding.

Who We're Looking For:

  • Essential:
  • HCPC-Registered Clinical or Counselling Psychologist (applications welcome from those awaiting registration following completion of a doctorate)
  • Experience supporting children and families affected by trauma and abuse.
  • Familiarity with working alongside statutory services (e.g., local authorities, CAMHS).
