Your Role as a Residential Clinical Practitioner:
- Lead therapeutic provision across children's residential homes and an assessment centre within the region.
- Deliver clinical assessments and trauma-informed interventions to children and young people with complex needs.
- Provide weekly therapy sessions using integrative approaches aligned with developmental and complex trauma models.
- Produce detailed assessment reports and therapeutic care plans.
- Offer clinical supervision to assistant psychologists and deliver training to staff on attachment, therapeutic parenting, and trauma recovery.
- Work collaboratively with external agencies and care professionals to support progress and safeguarding.
Who We're Looking For:
- Essential:
- HCPC-Registered Clinical or Counselling Psychologist (applications welcome from those awaiting registration following completion of a doctorate)
- Experience supporting children and families affected by trauma and abuse.
- Familiarity with working alongside statutory services (e.g., local authorities, CAMHS).
