We are partnering with a globally established specialty chemicals business operating across highly regulated markets, supporting customers with technical solutions that protect product integrity, ensure compliance, and optimise performance.

With a strong international footprint and long-standing customer relationships, the business is now looking to appoint a Key Account Manager to support a critical business unit (more information disclosed on application).

This is a true Key Account Management role, not a pure new business position. You will take ownership of a portfolio of strategic, international customers, with a particular focus on Asia-Pacific markets, ensuring long-term value, stability, and commercial performance.

  • Navigating logistics, packaging, and supply chain challenges
  • Identifying sustainable growth within established accounts
  • Account & Strategy Ownership
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key global customers and distributors
  • Develop and execute structured account plans aligned with regional and company strategy
  • Monitor account performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction
  • Commercial & Operational Delivery
  • Identify opportunities to improve margin, efficiency, and commercial performance (e.g. logistics, packaging, supply optimisation)
  • Lead customer communication across commercial and technical topics, including tenders, quotations, and issue resolution
  • Work cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Technical and Sales teams to deliver a seamless customer experience
  • Support regional and customer strategies by identifying incremental opportunities within existing accounts
  • Provide market intelligence and customer insight to support wider business decisions

Proven experience in Key Account Management within chemicals or technical B2B sectors.

Background in chemical sales, ideally within:

  • Oil & Gas
  • Contract manufacturing
  • Surfactants / personal care / specialty chemicals

Willingness to travel globally.
