This role would see you at the heart of the design and assurance of Containment Level 3 containment laboratories and other secure government buildings. Review and shape perimeter security, including Hostile Vehicle Mitigation, and recommend targeted enhancements. Lead and support security risk assessments, threat analyses and vulnerability studies for high risk environments. Develop, review and assure security design documentation (protective security strategies, technical specifications, assurance reports). Work closely with architects, engineers and programme teams to embed security throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards and security frameworks. Advise on digital engineering security, including security minded BIM and secure information management. Support design reviews, governance, construction assurance, commissioning and operational readiness.
