Our client, a global crop protection/agrochemical business, is seeking a Regional Regulatory Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of active substances and formulated products across the EU and GB.
The role:
- Lead EU active substance approval processes β data gap analysis, risk assessment coordination, dossier preparation, and liaison with Rapporteur Member States, DG SANTE, EFSA and HSE
- Manage Member State product authorisations across Europe, including registrability assessments for new and existing products
- Coordinate external consultants and CROs β study placement, monitoring, and budget tracking
- Partner with R&D and Marketing to shape and represent the regulatory position on business decisions
- Act as subject matter expert for assigned focus areas, contributing to Crop Life Europe initiatives
- Support advocacy and represent the business in regulatory forums
What we're looking for:
- Minimum 10 years' EU regulatory experience in crop protection/agrochemicals, covering both active substance and product dossier management
- Scientific background relevant to regulatory affairs β toxicology preferred
- Strong track record managing risk assessments, consultants and CRO relationships
- Confident communicator with negotiation and advocacy experience
- Autonomous, organised, and comfortable navigating complex, evolving regulatory frameworks
