We are currently recruiting for Senior Java Developers, with experience in Java 17 (or later) to join a great complex project with the UK GOV for 12 months, hybrid working in Birmingham. Essential:

  • Banking/ Insurance/ Finance background is highly desirable
  • Suitable candidates must be eligible to undergo SC Clearance - have min of 5 years in UK
  • Recent experience with Java 17 (or later) working in an Agile environment
  • Strong TDD/ BDD
  • Experience with large micro-service architectures
  • Implementing API's for internal and external use

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Mongo DB/ Jackson/ JAX-RS / mocking frameworks such as Mockito, and messaging platforms (ActiveMQ or Kafka)
