NonStop Care is working with one of the most reputable fostering agencies in Basildon to help them find a Supervising Social Worker, full-time. This is a national fostering organisation that is well-established and can offer great career development and benefits. They have a hybrid working model, and you will be required to work from the office 2 days per week.

The caseload is usually between 10 - 12 carers, and they will be located in Basildon and going into Maidstone. You must be a driver and have access to a car to be eligible for this role. The role is autonomous, and you can organise your own schedule.

Responsibilities of the Supervising Social Worker:

  • Offering monthly support and supervision to foster carers
  • Updating assessments of current carers
  • Being part of the OOH call system - this will be paid additionally

Requirements:

  • Must be a driver and have access to own car
  • Must have recent experience working as a fostering social worker, either within local authority or IFA
