NonStop Care is working with one of the most reputable fostering agencies in Basildon to help them find a Fostering Team Manager, full-time. This is a National Fostering organisation that is well-established and can offer great career development and benefits. The role is office-based in Basildon.

The caseload of each supervising social worker in the team is about 10 - 12 carers. There will be 5 supervising social workers which you will be responsible to line manage. The team has 13 staff in total.

You must be a driver and have access to a car to be eligible for this role. The role is autonomous and you can organise your own schedule.

Responsibilities of the Fostering Team Manager:

  • Work closely with the Service Manager to help shape the service
  • Driving forward carer recruitment and retention initiatives
  • Continue to build an established fostering team
  • Travel required for operational area meetings, support groups and training events

Requirements:

  • Must be a driver and have access to own car
  • Must have recent experience working as a team manager or assistant team manager, or experienced senior practitioner who is looking to step up.
