NonStop Consulting have partnered with a well established Local Authority, based in the North of London area, who are looking for an experienced Assistant Chief Legal Officer to join their developed legal service. This position is offering flexible working, fantastic training & development alongside an amazing work culture.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Management responsibilities for leading and shaping the development of specialist legal teams of up to 30 qualified staff
- Aid with overall strategic management and development of a large and well supported local authority legal team
- Deputise for the Director of Law & Governance as the Council's Monitoring Officer
Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Chartered Legal Executive with experience in one of the specified specialist services
- Experience in providing and promoting solutions to significant proposals and projects, and providing high level professional advice on a range of complex matters
- Senior legal experience within a large organisation
